Ingredients/Components
- water - 2 c
- all-purpose flour - 2 Tbsp
- small onion, sliced thin - 1 item
- Lipton dry onion soup
- small can mushrooms, drained - 1 item
- to 8 small hamburger patties - 6 item
How to make salisbury steak:
Lipton Gravy:1 pkg. Lipton dry onion soup2 c. water2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour Brown hamburger patties in a skillet. When patties are almost done, add the onion and mushrooms. Make Lipton Gravy (recipe follows). Pour gravy over the patties, onion and mushrooms. Let simmer until you are ready to eat.Lipton Gravy: In medium saucepan, blend onion soup with 1 1/2 cups water. Bring to a boil, then simmer, covered, for 8 minutes. Blend flour with remaining water. Add to onion soup mixture. Bring to boil, then simmer, stirring constantly, until gravy is thick, about 2 minutes.
