Green enchiladas
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- Velveeta cheese - 1/4 lb
- ground meat - 1 lb
- stick oleo - 1/2 item
- large onion - 1 item
- flour tortillas - 2 pkg
- Longhorn cheese - 1/2 lb
- small can pimentos - 1 item
- green chilli peppers, chopped small can - 1 item
How to make green enchiladas:
Fry meat and onion; season. Grate cheese. Warm tortillas to soften. Take tortillas and place meat into the middle. Sprinkle cheese on top. Roll up and place in pan.Sauce (For top of enchiladas): Melt butter and Velveeta. Add 2 cups milk, green chilli peppers and pimentos. Let it come to a boil. Add 3 tablespoons flour. Mix in milk to make thick. Pour over enchiladas and put in oven. Cook at 350° for 20 minutes.
