Green chile stew
Ingredients/Components
- beef, cubed * - 1 lb
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- can chopped green chiles - 1 item
- can stewed tomatoes - 1 item
- can hominy - 1 item
- garlic to taste - 1 item
- beef broth * - 2 c
How to make green chile stew:
Brown meat in small amount of olive oil. Sprinkle flour over meat. Add onions and cook until tender. Add chiles, garlic, broth, tomatoes, hominy, salt and pepper to taste. Simmer slowly until meat is tender.*Chicken can be used, just remember to use chicken broth in place of beef broth.
