Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 c
- soy sauce - 1 tsp
- margarine, melted - 3 oz
- onion powder - 1 tsp
- mushroom soup - 10 oz
- water chestnuts, sliced and drained - 1 item
- shredded cheese any kind - 8 oz
- 5 tsp
- frozen green beans French-cut - 120 oz
- slices fresh mushrooms or you may use 1 can mushrooms - 3 item
How to make green bean casserole:
Cook green beans and drain. Saut?© the mushrooms in margarine. Blend in soup, milk and seasonings. Pour into a deep pan. Sprinkle cheese over beans. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes. Remove from oven and combine crumbs, bread or saltine crackers, with margarine. Sprinkle cheese over bread. Bake for 5 to 10 minutes. Feeds 100 people.This recipe is for a large amount. You may cut this recipe if cooking for a smaller amount.
