Greek salad
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- lemon juice - 1/3 c
- clove garlic, minced - 1 item
- olive oil - 1/2 c
- dried oregano - 2 tsp
- freshly ground black pepper - 1/8 tsp
- cucumber, peeled and sliced - 1 item
- green pepper, seeded and chopped - 1 item
- head lettuce, torn - 1 item
- crumbled Feta cheese - 1/4 c
- scallions, chopped - 2 item
- tomatoes, cut in eighths - 2 item
- Greek black olives - 1/2 c
How to make greek salad:
In large serving bowl, place lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, green pepper, scallions, olives and cheese. Combine olive oil, lemon juice, oregano, salt, pepper and garlic and beat with a fork until well blended. Pour over salad and mix well. Serves 6 to 8.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Salads, Potato.
