Ingredients/Components
- packed brown sugar - 2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- light corn syrup - 1/2 c
- popped corn - 6 qt
- cream of tartar - 1/4 tsp
- sticks oleo - 2 item
How to make caramel corn:
In a 2 1/2-quart saucepan, heat brown sugar, corn syrup, oleo, cream of tartar and salt to boiling to 260°. Cook 5 minutes or more. Remove from heat. Stir in baking soda thoroughly and pour over popped corn. Stir gently. Bake in a preheated ovenRecipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, American.
