- pkg - 1 oz
- butter or margarine - 1/4 c
- salt - 1 item
- brown sugar - 1/4 c
- boiling water - 1 c
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- cans vacuum packed sweet potatoes - 2 lb
How to make glazed sweet potatoes:
In a large skillet, dissolve gelatin, brown sugar and salt in boiling water. Add butter and bring to boil, stirring constantly. Add potatoes; simmer about 15 minutes, basting frequently, until syrup thickens and potatoes are glazed. Serves 6 to 8.Recipe categories: Side dish, Potato, Yam/sweet potato.
