Ingredients/Components
- cukes - 7 lb
- lime - 2 c
- water - 3 gal
- alum - 1/2 c
- ginger - 1/2 c
How to make ginger pickles:
Cover cucumbers and soak 24 hours. Wash good; soak 1 hour in alum and 1 gallon water; rinse. Soak 6 hours in 1 gallon water and ginger; drain. Do not rinse.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Appetizers, Salads.
