- butter - 1 c
- sugar - 2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 4 c
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- eggs - 5 item
- buttermilk - 1 c
- blackberries - 1 c
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- allspice - 1 tsp
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
How to make blackberry cake:
Cream butter and sugar. Beat in 1 egg at a time until 3 have been used. Then add some flour. Add 2 more eggs and rest of flour. Then add buttermilk and blackberries. Bake in loaf pan at 300° to 350° for 50 to 60 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Lunch/snacks.
