Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • butter - 1/2 c
  • soda - 1/2 tsp
  • light corn syrup - 1/4 c
  • brown sugar, packed - 1 c
  • popped corn 15 c

How to make oven caramel corn:

Heat oven to 200°. Divide popped corn between 2 ungreased cookie sheets. Heat sugar, butter, corn syrup and salt, stirring occasionally until bubbly around edges. Continue cooking over medium heat for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in soda until foamy. Pour on popped corn. Stir until corn is coated. Bake 1 hour, turning every 15 minutes.
