vanilla - 1 tsp
granulated sugar - 3 c
cocoa - 7 Tbsp
pinch of salt - 1 item
pecans, chopped - 1 c
stick margarine, softened - 1 item
large can Carnation evaporated milk - 1 item

How to make german chocolate pie:

Mix sugar, salt and cocoa; sift. Add eggs, one at a time, and mix well. Stir in vanilla, milk, margarine, coconut and pecans. Pour in 2 deep-dish pie shells or 3 shallow pie shells. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until brown and firm when you shake.
