German chocolate pie
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- granulated sugar - 3 c
- cocoa - 7 Tbsp
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- pecans, chopped - 1 c
- stick margarine, softened - 1 item
- large can Carnation evaporated milk - 1 item
How to make german chocolate pie:
Mix sugar, salt and cocoa; sift. Add eggs, one at a time, and mix well. Stir in vanilla, milk, margarine, coconut and pecans. Pour in 2 deep-dish pie shells or 3 shallow pie shells. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until brown and firm when you shake.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
