Georgia bread pudding
Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1/8 tsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- granulated sugar - 1 c
- nutmeg - 1/8 tsp
- egg yolks - 3 item
- raisins - 1/3 c
- butter, melted - 1/3 c
- can evaporated milk - 1 oz
- whole milk - 2 c
- slices white bread, cubed - 9 item
How to make georgia bread pudding:
Preheat oven to 400°. Mix sugar, milks and egg yolks together thoroughly. Add melted butter, raisins, vanilla and spices and mix well. Add bread cubes to mixture and toss to saturate bread. Pour mixture into a buttered 8 x 8 inch baking dish and bake for 25 minutes until pudding is lightly browned and set. Allow to cool before cutting. It gets firmer and is easier to cut when cool.
