Pineapple pudding
Ingredients/Components
- can crushed pineapple in heavy syrup, undrained - 1 oz
- eggs, well beaten - 3 item
- sugar - 1/2 c
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- slices bread, cubed - 4 item
- butter or margarine, melted - 1/2 c
How to make pineapple pudding:
Combine undrained pineapple and eggs. Mix together sugar, flour and salt. Add to pineapple mixture. Pour into a greased 1-1/2 quart baking dish. Toss bread cubes in melted butter and place on top of pineapple mixture. Bake at 350° for 45-50 minutes. Yield 4 to 6 servings. You may serve cold or warm dolloped with plain whipped topping or top with mixture of whipped topping and a little cherry pie filling.Recipe categories: Desserts, Puddings and mousses, Pineapple.
