Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 2 c
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • eggs - 3 item
  • vanilla - 2 Tbsp
  • chopped pecans - 1 c
  • milk - 4 c
  • nutmeg - 1 tsp
  • egg yolks - 2 item
  • coconut - 1 c
  • powdered sugar
  • raisins - 1 c
  • butter, melted - 8 Tbsp
  • loaf stale French bread, crumbled - 1 (10
  • Mixture should be very moist but not soupy
  • muscadine juice or your favorite juice - 1/2 c

How to make bread pudding:

Combine all ingredients. Mixture should be very moist but not soupy. Pour into buttered 9 x 12-inch or larger baking dish. Place into non-preheated oven. Bake at 350° for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until top is golden brown. Serve warm with sauce.Sa
