Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 tsp
- salt
- flour
- baking powder - 3/4 Tbsp
- beaten egg - 1 item
- milk more if batter is too thick - 2/3 c
How to make funnel cakes:
Mix egg and milk together; add dry ingredients and beat until smooth. Hold finger over bottom of funnel; pour in some of the batter, then remove finger and let batter drop in a spiral motion into pan filled with 1-inch of hot oil. Fry until golden brown, turning once. Remove from pan and drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve hot.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, < 30 mins.
