  • sugar - 2 Tbsp
  • milk - 2/3 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour
  • baking powder - 3/4 tsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • oil for frying - 1 item

How to make funnel cakes:

Combine egg, milk, sugar, baking powder, flour and salt in mixer bowl. Beat until smooth. Heat 1-inch of oil to 375° in electric skillet. Spoon 1/2 cup batter at a time into funnel, closing spout with finger. Drizzle batter into spiral into oil. Fry until brown on both sides, turning once. Garnish with confectioners sugar and/or fruit.
