  • sugar - 1 c
  • eggs - 4 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • milk - 2/3 c
  • baking chocolate - 2 sq
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • can chocolate syrup - 1 lb
  • chopped nuts optional - 1 c
  • margarine, softened - 1/2 c
  • sifted all-purpose flour - 1 c
  • Wesson oil - 1/2 c
  • Add eggs and beat thoroughly

How to make fudge cake:

Cream margarine and sugar. Add eggs and beat thoroughly. Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with syrup, blending well. Add nuts and vanilla. Bake in sheet pan 35 to 40 minutes at 350°. Let cool and top with icing.Icing:2 c. sugar1/2 c. Wesson oil2/3 c. milk2 sq. baking chocolate Mix together and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil about 5 minutes; cool. Beat until thick and pour over cake.
