Sour cream banana bars
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- milk - 3 Tbsp
- sour cream - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- nuts - 1/2 c
- margarine, softened - 1/2 c
- mashed bananas
- 10x sugar - 2 c
- Grease and flour jelly roll pan
How to make sour cream banana bars:
Heat oven to 375°. Grease and flour jelly roll pan. Mix sugar, sour cream and eggs in large mixing bowl on low (scraping bowl occasionally) for 1 minute. Beat in bananas and vanilla on low for 30 seconds. Beat in flour, salt and baking soda on medium for 1 minute. Stir in nuts. Spread mixture into pan. Bake until light brown 20 to 25 minutes. Frost with Butter Frosting.Butter Frosting:1/4 c. margarine2 c. 10x sugar1 tsp. vanilla3 Tbsp. milk Heat margarine until brown; remove from heat and mix in powdered sugar, vanilla and milk.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cookie and brownie, Bar cookie.
