Ingredients/Components
- chocolate - 4 sq
- milk - 1 c
- egg yolks, beaten - 4 item
- sugar - 2 c
- all-purpose flour, sifted - 1 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- egg whites, beaten - 2 item
How to make fudge cake:
Cook chocolate and milk together until thick and smooth; let completely cool. Then add beaten egg yolks, sugar, flour, baking powder, salt and vanilla. Beat well after each addition. Fold into the stiffly beaten egg whites. Bake in a loaf pan 1 hour at 350°. Frost if desired.Recipe categories: Desserts, Chocolate, Cakes.
