Ingredients/Components
- fresh lime juice - 3 Tbsp
- chopped cilantro or parsley - 1/4 c
- salt or salt substitute - 1/2 tsp
- medium white onion, finely chopped - 1 item
- , cut into 1/2-inch cubes - 2 large
- dried marjoram or oregano - 1 tsp
- finely diced, seeded jalapeno peppers optional - 2 Tbsp
How to make fresh tomato salsa:
In a medium bowl, combine all of the ingredients. Let stand at room temperature at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours. Cover and refrigerate for longer storage. Return to room temperature before serving. Serve with tortilla chips. Serves 12.
