Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 tsp
- sour cream - 1 item
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- vegetable oil - 2 Tbsp
- paprika - 1/4 tsp
- chili powder - 1/4 tsp
- garlic clove, minced - 1 item
- ground cumin - 1/4 tsp
- dried oregano - 1/4 tsp
- onion, sliced - 1 item
- lettuce - 1 item
- fresh lime juice - 1 Tbsp
- flour tortillas - 1 pkg
- minced fresh cilantro - 1 Tbsp
- canned green chiles - 4 oz
- red pepper, sliced - 1 item
- boneless chicken, cut into strips
- shredded Cheddar/Monterey Jack - 1 item
- California black beans - 1 item
How to make chicken fajitas:
Combine cumin, oregano, paprika, chili and sugar in a small bowl. Heat oil in 12-inch skillet. Add onion, pepper, chiles, lime juice and salt. Saute slowly for 10 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Add garlic and cilantro. Saute for 2 minutes. Increase heat to high. Add chicken and spice to pan and saute until chicken is lightly brown. Season to taste with salt. Steam tortillas. Roll chicken mixture into tortillas and top with condiments of your choice.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Chicken breast.
