  • warm water 105~ - 1/4 c
  • warm water 120~

How to make french bread:

Mix well, then rest for 10 minutes. Knead for 10 minutes more, working flour in well. Grease well. Let rise until double. Punch down and knead for 30 seconds longer, letting it rise again. Divide dough in half. Brush on water, then coarse salt. Slash top with razor blade or sharp knife. Bake at 400° for 45 minutes with pan with water on bottom rack.
