Ingredients/Components
- water - 6 c
- stick butter - 1 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- can diced tomatoes - 1/2 item
- medium onion chopped - 1 item
- red snapper - 1 lb
- medium potatoes cut into pieces - 4 item
- to 4 medium carrots sliced into pieces - 3 item
- Tonys Herb and Spice - 1 Tbsp
How to make fish chowder:
In a large pot add water and bring to boil; then add fish, salt and pepper to taste. Cook fish until done about 10 minutes. Remove fish and debone. Add vegetables (except tomatoes) and Tonys Herb Spice to stock, cook until tender. Add tomatoes, butter and fish bring to boil. Then serve.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Chowders, Cod.
