Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1 tsp
  • butter - 2 Tbsp
  • evaporated milk - 12 oz
  • boiling water - 5 6
  • paprika - 1 item
  • pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • bay leaf - 1 item
  • olive oil - 2 Tbsp
  • medium onion, chopped - 1 item
  • stalks celery, chopped - 2 item
  • -6 medium potatoes, pared and cubed - 5 item
  • white fish haddock or cod - 3/4 1

How to make fish chowder:

Saut?© onion and celery in olive oil until tender. Add potatoes and cover with boiling water. Add bay leaf, salt and pepper. Cook ten minutes. Then add cubed fish. When all is cooked, add evaporated milk and heat through. Add butter and sprinkle paprika on top. Serve with crackers and salad.
