Ingredients/Components

  • butter - 3 Tbsp
  • carrots, peeled and diced - 1 lb
  • small onion, chopped - 1 item
  • medium potato, peeled and diced - 1 item
  • beef broth - 3 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • dash of pepper - 1 item
  • chopped parsley - 1 Tbsp
  • marjoram - 1 tsp

How to make carrot soup:

Cook first 4 ingredients over medium heat for 15 minutes. Add beef broth; cook 15 minutes more. Add salt, pepper, parsley and marjoram. Put in blender and puree. Serve.
