Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- brown sugar - 1 c
- margarine - 1 c
- egg yolk, beaten - 1 item
- plain chocolate bars - 6 item
How to make english toffee bars:
Cream the margarine and brown sugar for 3 minutes. Add the egg yolk, flour and vanilla. Put in jelly roll pan; bake on lowest shelf in oven at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes. Break up the chocolate bars; put on crust, then melt and spread.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cookie and brownie, Bar cookie.
