Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 3/4 c
  • vanilla - 3/4 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 2 Tbsp
  • evaporated milk - 3/4 c
  • eggs, beaten - 3 item
  • dark corn syrup - 1 c
  • pecans - 1 c
  • unbaked pie shell - 1 item
  • soft butter or margarine - 1/4 c

How to make pecan pie:

Combine and blend well the butter, sugar, flour and salt; add eggs, then corn syrup and milk. Stir in nuts and vanilla. Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake at 450° for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 325° and bake an additional 50 minutes.
