Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- vanilla - 3/4 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- evaporated milk - 3/4 c
- eggs, beaten - 3 item
- dark corn syrup - 1 c
- pecans - 1 c
- unbaked pie shell - 1 item
- soft butter or margarine - 1/4 c
How to make pecan pie:
Combine and blend well the butter, sugar, flour and salt; add eggs, then corn syrup and milk. Stir in nuts and vanilla. Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake at 450° for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 325° and bake an additional 50 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
