Enchiladas
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- oil - 1/3 c
- chili powder - 4 Tbsp
- grated cheese - 2 c
- hamburger - 1 lb
- cloves garlic - 3 item
- green onions, chopped - 4 item
- tortillas - 1 pkg
- large can crushed tomatoes - 1 item
- small can refried beans - 1 item
How to make enchiladas:
Brown 3 cloves of garlic in oil. Remove garlic when brown. Simmer 1/2 hour with tomatoes, chili powder and salt. Brown hamburger and drain. Dip tortillas in tomato mixture until soft and pliable. Fill each tortilla with beans, onions, meat and cheese. Roll up and place in baking dish; pour a little sauce on bottom of baking dish. When all tortillas are stuffed, pour remaining sauce over all and sprinkle with remaining cheese. Place in 400° oven until cheese is melted.Recipe categories: Poultry, Meat, High calcium.
