Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 1 doz
- half and half - 1 pt
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 8 oz
- bacon - 1 lb
- jar mushrooms optional - 1 item
- bag Ore Ida Tater Tots - 1 item
How to make egg casserole:
Mix 3/4 cup half and half with the dozen eggs; stir until smooth. Set aside. Mix 2/3 cup half and half with the can of soup; set aside. Fry bacon and cool; drain. Scramble egg mixture until light and fluffy. Place in 9 x 13-inch pan. Crumble bacon on top. Layer mushrooms. Sprinkle cheese on top. Pour soup mixture over all and place the Tater Tots on top. Can refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or 45 to 50 minutes if taken out of the refrigerator.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Main dish, Casseroles.
