Ingredients/Components

  • garlic powder - 1 tsp
  • freshly ground pepper - 1 item
  • chopped onions - 1/2 c
  • frozen apple juice concentrate - 1 tsp
  • coarsely chopped tomatoes - 3 c
  • each: oregano, thyme and basil - 1/2 tsp
  • fat-free chicken or vegetable stock - 1/2 c

How to make easy tomato sauce:

Cook onions in stock until soft. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to boil. Cover and simmer 30 to 45 minutes. Makes 3 (1 1/2 cups).
