- cooking oil - 1 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- frozen peas - 1 c
- quick cooking tapioca - 3 Tbsp
- medium carrots, cut into chunks - 5 item
- medium potatoes, cut in 1-inch cubes - 4 item
- large onion, cut in 1-inch chunks - 1 item
- can chunky stewed tomatoes - 1 item
- boneless beef round steak, cubed - 3/4 lb
- celery rib, cut in 1-inch chunks - 1 item
How to make easy oven stew:
In a Dutch oven, brown the steak in oil. Add the next 8 ingredients; cover and bake at 300° for 4 to 5 hours, stirring twice. Add the peas during the last 30 minutes of cooking time.
