Spicy potato soup
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 2 tsp
- water - 4 c
- pepper
- ground beef - 1 lb
- cans tomato sauce - 3 oz
- small onion, chopped - 1 item
- hot pepper sauce - 1/2 1
- cubed, peeled potatoes 1/2-inch cube - 4 c
How to make spicy potato soup:
In a large kettle, brown ground beef and drain. Add potatoes, onion and tomato sauce. Stir in water, salt, pepper and hot pepper sauce. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour or until the potatoes are tender and the soup has thickened. Yields 6 to 8 servings.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Soups & stews, Main dish.
