  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1/8 tsp
  • water - 2 tsp
  • egg yolks - 6 item
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • egg whites - 6 item
  • cream of tartar - 1/2 tsp
  • cake flour - 3/4 c
  • flavor - 1 item
  • Beat until foamy

How to make easter cake:

Add salt to egg whites. Beat until foamy. Add cream of tartar, beat until stiff. Then add sugar, a little at a time. Add flour and beat until smooth. Pour in ungreased cake pan.Second Part:1/2 c. cake flour1/2 c. sugar1 tsp. baking powder2 tsp. water6 egg yolks To the egg yolks add 1/8 teaspoon salt. Beat until thick. Then add water and beat until cream color. Add sifted sugar, a little at a time. Add flour which has been sifted 5 times with baking powder. Beat until smooth. Pour around on center of white in pan. Bake 1 hour in slow oven.
