Ingredients/Components
- butter - 1/2 c
- grated Cheddar cheese - 2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- dash of cayenne pepper - 1 item
How to make cheese straws:
Cream the butter and cheese. Add salt and cayenne. Work in flour. Roll and cut or put through cookie press. Bake at 350° until lightly browned. Do not overcook. They freeze well.Recipe categories: Eggs/dairy, < 15 mins, Cheese.
