Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/8 tsp
- flour
- stick margarine - 1 item
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- buttermilk - 1/2 c
- egg - 1 item
- white sugar - 1/2 c
- to 3 apples - 2 item
How to make dutch apple coffee cake:
Mix first 6 ingredients (flour, brown sugar, white sugar, cinnamon, salt and margarine) until crumb consistency. Reserve 1 1/2 cups of crumbs. To the remainder, add egg, buttermilk and soda. Spread in a greased pan. Slice 2 to 3 apples on the top and spread with crumbs. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Breads, Apple, Coffee cakes.
