Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2/3 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- plain flour - 2 c
- margarine - 2 Tbsp
How to make dumplings:
Combine flour and salt; cut margarine into flour. Add milk and mix. Roll dough on floured surface and cut into rectangle shapes. Bring 6 cups chicken broth to a boil. Gradually add, layer at a time, of dumplings to broth. Shake pot along, stirring breaks the dumplings. May stir occasionally though. After all the dumplings have been placed in the pot, add approximately 1/2 cup milk. Turn heat down and place lid on pot.
