Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- soda - 1 tsp
- buttermilk - 2 c
- eggs, beaten - 4 item
- warm water - 1/2 c
- white sugar - 1/4 c
- stick margarine, melted - 1 item
- dry active yeast 2 envelopes - 2 Tbsp
How to make dinner rolls:
Mix together water, yeast and sugar; set aside. Mix together buttermilk, melted margarine and eggs. Add to yeast mixture. Sift soda, salt and flour together into mixture. Knead and place in large greased covered bowl. Let rise until double in size. Punch down and let rise second time. Into greased muffin tin, squeeze off 3 balls per roll for cloverleaf rolls. Let rise, covered, with dish towel. Bake at 375° for 20 to 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Breads, Rolls/biscuits, Yeast breads.
