Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c

- butter - 1 lb

- rapid rising dry yeast, dissolved in 1 c - 3 pkg
How to make dinner rolls:
Generously grease 4 (12-cup) muffin tins; set aside. Place butter, sugar and salt in a very large mixing bowl. Scald milk. Pour over butter, sugar and salt. Cool until warm to fingertips. Add beaten egg yolks and yeast. Mix well. Start adding flour, 3 to 4 cups at a time, beating well after each addition until dough is slightly stiff. Place dough on floured surface and knead, adding more flour if necessary. Return dough to mixing bowl and grease with butter. Cover and let rise double in bulk. Punch dough down (I let mine rise twice). Shape into balls, placing two in each muffin tin cup. Let rise again. Bake at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven. Grease tops with butter.Note: Remove rolls from tins before sweating on bottom.
