- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 to
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- soda - 1/4 tsp
- warm water - 1/4 c
- egg unbeaten - 1 item
- yeast - 1 pkg
- minced onion - 1 Tbsp
- dill seed - 1 tsp
- creamed cottage cheese - 1 c
How to make dilly casserole bread:
Soften yeast in water. Add cottage cheese, onion, butter, dill seed, salt, soda and egg. Add flour, beating after first addition on low speed. Cover; let rise 1 hour. Stir down. Turn into well-greased casserole dish. Let rise for 40 minutes. Bake at 350° for 40 to 50 minutes. Brush with butter; sprinkle on salt. Serve.Recipe categories: Breads, Healthy, Yeast breads.
