Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1 Tbsp
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- butter - 1 sq
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- shortening - 1/2 c
- flour, sifted
- yeast - 2 pkg
How to make bubble bread:
Scald and cool the milk, shortening and sugar. Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water. Add eggs, then work in flour and salt. Let rise until double in bulk. Knead down; let stand 10 minutes. Break off dough in balls about the size of walnuts. Dip in a mixture of the sugar, cinnamon and butter (melted). Drop in angel food pan; let rise. Bake at 350° for 40 or 50 minutes.
