Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 to
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- soda - 1/4 tsp
- warm water - 1/4 c
- yeast - 1 pkg
- sea salt - 1 item
- instant minced onion - 1 Tbsp
- dill seed - 2 3
- unbeaten egg - 1 item
- creamed small curd cottage cheese, heated to lukewarm - 1 c
How to make casserole bread:
Soften yeast in water. Combine in bowl, next 8 ingredients. Add yeast mix. Start adding flour (at first with mixer) until all flour is added. Cover; let rise in warm place until light and doubled (50 to 60 minutes). Stir down dough. Put into well-buttered 8-inch round (1 1/2 to 2 quart) casserole dish. Let rise in warm place for 30 to 40 minutes. Bake at 350° for 40 to 50 minutes, until golden brown.
