- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 to
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- soda - 1/4 tsp
- warm water - 1/4 c
- dry yeast - 1 pkg
- dill seed - 2 tsp
- creamed cottage cheese, heated to lukewarm - 1 c
- unbeaten egg - 1 item
- dry minced onion - 1 Tbsp
How to make dilly casserole bread:
Soften yeast in water. Combine rest of ingredients in bowl. Add flour to form stiff dough. Cover; let rise (85° to 90°) until double, 50 to 60 minutes. Stir down. Turn into greased 8-inch round casserole (1 1/2 to 2-quart). Let rise 30 to 40 minutes. Bake at 350° for 40 to 50 minutes.
