Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 2
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- soda - 1/4 tsp
- warm water - 1/4 c
- instant minced onion - 1 Tbsp
- dry yeast - 1 pkg
- dill seed - 2 tsp
- unbeaten egg - 1 item
- cottage cheese, heated to barely lukewarm - 1 c
How to make dilly casserole bread:
Soften yeast in warm water. Combine in bowl the remaining ingredients, except flour, with yeast. Add flour. Cover. Let rise in warm place 1 hour or until doubled. Knead with a little flour and turn into well-greased 8-inch round casserole. Let rise 30 to 40 minutes. Bake at 350° about 30 minutes and golden brown.
