Ingredients/Components
- clove garlic - 1 item
- alum - 1/4 tsp
- pickling salt - 1 c
- jalapeno pepper - 1 item
- dill seeds - 1 tsp
- vinegar 6 c
- water 10 c
- cucumbers, quartered - 1 item
How to make dill pickles:
Boil vinegar, water and salt. Fill each hot jar with garlic, pepper, alum and dill seeds (one at a time). Pack with cucumbers and fill with vinegar mix. Wipe jar and put on hot lids and rings.
