Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 c
- water - 9 c
- vinegar - 3 c
- small cucumbers - 1 item
- a "bunch" of dill - 1 item
- clove garlic each quart jar - 1 item
- alum each quart jar - 1 tsp
How to make dill pickles:
Place small cucumbers, a "bunch" of dill, 1 clove garlic and 1 teaspoon alum in each quart jar. Cook water, vinegar and salt together until it boils. Pour hot vinegar solution over and seal immediately.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Appetizers, Condiments, etc..
