Ingredients/Components
- salt - 2 c
- water - 10 qt
- vinegar - 1 qt
- pepper - 2 Tbsp
- cukes
- stalks dill - 5 item
How to make dill pickles:
Make solution of water, salt, vinegar and pepper; heat to boiling point. Fill crock with cukes, placing dill between layers. Add hot solution. A slice of onion or garlic may be added to boiling liquid if desired. Cover crock and let stand several days before using.
