- sugar - 3 c
- eggs - 6 item
- vanilla
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- butter - 3/4 lb
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- cream of tartar - 1 tsp
- cake flour
How to make pound cake:
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs singlely, beating after each. Sift flour before measuring. Add other dry ingredients, then sift again. Add alternately with milk and vanilla. Bake at 350° for 1 hour and 45 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Lunch/snacks.
