Ingredients/Components

  • eggs - 12 item
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • Durkee Dressing - 1/2 c
  • a dash of paprika for each egg half - 1 item

How to make deviled eggs:

Place eggs in a sauce pan and cover with cold water, at least one inch above eggs and rapidly bring to a boil Reduce heat to a simmer and cook for about 15 minutes. Don't over cook. Cool at once in cold running water. Peel the eggs under the cold running water. This helps the peeling. After the eggs are peeled, cut in half and place yellows in mixing bowl and whites on an egg platter.

Mash the yellows very fine and add the dressing, salt and pepper. Mix well and refill egg whites.

Top this with a dash of paprika on each egg half.

Yield: 24 halves.
