Ingredients/Components
- crabmeat, picked over - 1 lb
- rolled cracker crumbs
- chopped celery - 3/4 c
- chopped onion - 3/4 c
- chopped green pepper - 1/4 c
- chopped parsley - 1/4 c
- dry mustard - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- dash of cayenne - 1 item
- melted butter - 1/2 c
- milk - 1/4 1/2
How to make deviled crab:
Combine crabmeat with crumbs, celery, onions, etc. Sprinkle with salt, mustard and cayenne. Moisten with batter and milk. Mixture should be slightly moist, not soupy. Pile into shells or casserole dish. Bake at 350° for about 30 minutes. Serves 4 to 6.Recipe categories: Seafood, Shellfish, Crab.
