Ingredients/Components
- flour - 2 c
- sugar - 2 c
- cocoa - 3/4 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- baking soda - 2 tsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- milk - 1 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- cooking oil - 1 c
- black coffee - 1 c
- Set aside
- butter or margarine - 1 c
- granulated sugar - 1 c
How to make dark chocolate cake:
Sift flour, sugar, cocoa, salt, baking soda and baking powder. Set aside. Mix together oil, coffee, milk, eggs and vanilla. Add this to flour mixture. Batter will be thin. Grease and flour pan. Bake at 375° for 40 minutes.Icing:5 tsp. flour1 c. milk1 c. butter or margarine1 tsp. vanilla1 c. granulated sugar Add flour to milk. Cook until thick or like cream. Refrigerate.
